Driver Education
This is a State of Delaware Department of Education approved driver’s education course. It consists of 30 hours of classroom instruction as well as 14 hours of separately scheduled driving instruction and observation.
Eligibility
Per state law, students between the ages of 15 years, 6 months old and less than 18 years old must have the written consent of a parent/guardian, must show evidence of five high school credits earned (with at least two credits in core subjects), and must be academically eligible.
Schedule
There are 11 sessions (classroom hours). On-the-road instruction is generally offered on evenings and weekends.
Attendance
Students must attend all classes to receive credit for the course. There are no excused absences.

Class Dates: February 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 8th, 9th, 10th, 16th, 17th, 22nd 23rd, and 24th
Times: 4:00-6:30 PM on ZOOM
Final Exam: February 25th starting at 2:00 PM - at the AEC (50 Hillside Road, A.I. duPont High Annex)
Driving: Driving will begin the week of February 1st
